I like the way of thinking. Instead of migrating to another database, they keep that awesome one running and found smart workaround to push limits.

It is what mature engineering does. Migrations are not fun.

Nice

IMO, the answer does not come from the bot answer, but in the questions I had. Every new question was a confirmation of how I feels about my projects.

Awesome !! Some month I'm trying to find a free game to learn playing Go with my young son.

Thanks for this !!

very nice ! Does there is a setting to show the description in the canvas ? The idea is to print the whole schema, included description.

Thanks

of course, each object (instance, database, schemas, tables, columns) has a "description" field. If you add it, then when you hold the cursor over the object for a second, the description type will be displayed (this is useful if you need to document the database).

It's an impressive and very regular work. Curl = Daniel.

Thank for that awesome library

> It's much more comfortable to be the person that "could be X" than to be the person that tries to actually do it

I totally agree with that statement and it mostly explains why so many people does not go down a rabbit hole.

Two days and still no update for users, it's a shame at that level (of product scale) !

Guys,

GitHub action is a totally broken piece of s !! I know about that broken loops cause I had to deal with it an incredible number of times.

I very often mention OneDev in my comments, and you know what ? Robin solved this issue 3 years ago : https://docs.onedev.io/tutorials/cicd/diagnose-with-web-term...

You can pause your action, connect through a web terminal, and debug/fix things live until it works. Then, you just patch your action easily.

And that’s just one of the many features that make OneDev superior to pretty much every other CI/CD product out there.

I believe the problem is not really Cloudflare or another cloud provider.

The fact is internet was built around the idea that everything should be decentralized in order to be resilient.

Resilient to attacks, resilient to outages or any form of censorship.

So, each time amazon, cloudflare (...) fails, it reminds us that nobody like SPOFs.

> Rich developer spends $15k to run a model slightly faster (jeffgeerling.com)

The title are so funny ! I'm thinking to switch for the time ^^

Inaccurate.

> Apple gave me access to this Mac Studio cluster to test RDMA over Thunderbolt,

Better:

"Engfluencer suggests you spend $15k to run a model slightly faster (jeffgeerling.com)"
